El Modelo Accelera de creación y gestión del conocimiento en el ámbito educativo

In educational institutions, the application and development of Knowledge Creation and Management (KCM) is an incipient matter. This paper shows, regarding this matter, an experience whose aims are to create and experiment with a KCM model applicable to the educational field and to analyse the activity of knowledge managers. The methodology comprises the continuous creation of KCM networks, at present there are nine and more than 400 participants, whose running is analysed from the MOMO network in order to produce knowledge of the research topics.

The discussion and the collective reflection are considered to be the foundation of the proposal. The discussion is organized, in the early stages of KCM groups, around questions aimed at creating a univocal language, identification of themes, diagnostic of the reality, intervention, record and diffusion of knowledge acquired. The collective reflection is stimulated by knowledge manager who, apart from technical competences, must deploy organizational and social competences.

The outcomes emphasize the validity of the proposal, at the same time as making possible to progress in operational questions. More specifically, some principles are established which uphold the model (contextualization, planning, technological development, amongst others) and likewise, some clarifications are done about its use and the tasks that should tackle the knowledge manager. We are referring specifically to his or her work as facilitator and mediator in the interaction processes with knowledge.
