Detección de modelos mentales como posibilidades semánticas para el análisis del pensamiento social
Any: 2019
In this paper, I analyze whether detecting semantic possibilities allows accounting for the cognitive mechanisms that lead the appearance of biases in social thought. To do that, I will base upon the assumptions of Johnson-Laird’s mental models theory in order to make, for this particular case and as an example, the gender stereotypes evident. So, I will try to demonstrate its relevance and potential for the study of social and critical thinking, an issue that in turn directly contributes to the understanding of social phenomena by means of Social Sciences Didactics.
