Marcela Andrea Peña Ruz

Professor of Plastic Arts, Metropolitan University of Education Sciences. Master of Education, mention of curriculum, Metropolitan University of Education Sciences. Master in Leadership and School Management, Diego Portales University.

Professional with experience in education both in school and university, in this last one from teaching in initial and continuing teacher training. Currently she’s the coordinator of the area of Innovation and Development of the Centre for the Study and Development of Continuing Education for the Teaching of the University of Chile.

Her research focuses on professional teacher development and professional learning communities.
