Study that analyses the gender differences on the adults participation in non-formal and informal learning activities in Spain. 

Miren Fernández de Álava (EDO-UAB), in collaboration with Carla Quesada (University of Leeds) and Mariana Rebollar present in Revista Bordón volume 67, the paper named “Differences of gender in the adults participation on non-formal and informal learning activities: current situation in Spain”. ”

The study is done drawing from the data obtained with the Survey about the Adult Participation in Learning Activities (EADA), collected in 2011. They present a descriptive and inferential statistic analysis, which tries to reveal whether there are differencies of gender in the participation of non-formal and informal learning activities, by identifying the associated variables to noted differences.

The results have shown that there are significant differences between gender and participation of the adults in non-formal and informal learning activities, especially those related to participation, age, nationality and social class.
