Katia Pozos and Cristina Mercader present two papers in the 7th International Congress Edulearn.

Katia Pozos and Cristina Mercader (EDO-UAB) present two papers in the 7th International Congress Edulearn. The annual Congress on Education and New Learning Technologies is held on the 6th , 7th and 8th of July, and this year in Barcelona; It intends to offer a space for presenting projects and experiences, as well as discuss about the latest developments in the field of teaching and learning methodologies, educational projects and innovations and new technologies applied to Education and Research.

Pozos and Mercader present the contribution “Conditioning factors for pedagogical integration of technologies in higher education teaching: a cross-case analysis of two studies in Mexico and Spain”, elaborated from the progresses of the thesis (on the part of Pozos) and the Final Master’s Degree Project (on the part of Mercader), about the similarities and differencies between both contexts concerning resistances and barriers to integrating ICT. In addition, Mercader also presents a paper written by Anna Diaz, Joaquín Gairín and herself about “Teenagers internet access. A study about risks of technology abuse in high school students”, thus presenting a handbook elaborated by the EDO group from a study founded by Mapfre’s Foundation last 2014.

Both contributions will be published in “EDULEARN15 proceedings” in a digital version. Lasts EDULEARN proceedings are included in ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index, and it is expected to be included this one too.
