Iberoamerican course of Management and Coordination of Adult and Young People Training Institutions

Innovation and quality in training programms and institutions require global approaches and strategies as well as participatory and democratic processes of qualified management. To intervene effectively in such processes and, above all, to lead them properly, involves training and specialized capacitation.

There is a considerable number of university graduates, many of which are professionally linked with the world of education and claim they need additional training and complementary specialization that sometimes can not be obtained from graduate studies. In addition, the training offer in this area and further training of people interested in the leading function has been limited in regular modalities. The dimensions posed by rigid schedules and calendars, the impossibility of reconciling professional practice with participation into training activities, problems of distance, among other things, originate some necessities and expectations which have not been satisfied till now.

Aware of these needs, the Center for Advanced University Studies of the OEI in conjunction with the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) offers this course aiming at acquiring concepts and developing competencies and skills associated with leadership, management and systems management and training institutions for youth and adults.
