Training

Between 27th June and 1st July, the second part of the training framed in the QUEST project takes place.

It is a face-to-face, gamified and very active training, in which the participants learn through collaboration, reflection and intercultural interactions.

Last March, the first part of the training was developed, in which primary and secondary teachers from Romania, France and Catalonia were trained in two blocks of content: (1) development of trust and security for online communication and (2) management of interactive online classes. The second part of the training is currently being developed in Oslo, Norway, around three blocks of content that complement the first two: (3) gamification of the online class, (4) curriculum design for online learning and ( 5) evaluation and feedback in online environments.

All this constitutes the modules of the complete training of the QUEST project, to train European teachers of primary and secondary education with the necessary skills to teach online through gamification. The objectives of the project, which is developed in the Erasmus+ program, are the following:

  • O1: Academic and collaborative development of 5 e-learning modules that address the essential skills for quality online learning (online presence, interaction and dialogue, gamification, instructional design, feedback and evaluation).
  • O2: Creation of a European network of teacher trainers for online learning composed of 18 teachers who participate in an advanced course consisting of 10 days of training, feedback loops with end users (students and teachers at a local level) and conducting thematic webinars.
  • O3: Increase the skills of more than 2,450 teachers so that they can teach higher quality online classes that address the attraction, interactivity and academic progress of students. The project management framework consists of 7 activities, 4 consortium meetings, monitoring and evaluation actions and a coherent communication and dissemination component.

This project has a total budget of 235,449.00, is coordinated by the Romanian Angel Appeal - Apelul Ingerului Roman (Romania) foundation, and within the framework of the UAB, Professor Georgeta Ion is the responsible.
