QUEST coordination meeting

The objective of this meeting, in which Cristina Mercader and Georgeta Ion participated, was to monitor all the activities that have been carried out to date, finalize the details of the training that would take place the following week and plan the following tasks to guarantee the fulfillment of the objectives of the project in the term.

At the moment, the team is working on the design of the learning sequence and the development of materials for online training, which in the coming months will be available, in open and free MOOC format, for all primary school teachers and secondary. The training is designed around 5 blocks of content:

• Module 1: Building trust and security for online communication
• Module 2: Management of interactive online classes
• Module 3: Gamification of the online class
• Module 4: Curriculum design for online learning
• Module 5: Evaluation and feedback in online environments

Training is the key element of the QUEST project, coordinated by the Fundatia Romanian Angel Appeal - Apelul Ingerului Roman (Romania), within the Erasmus+ program, and within the framework of the UAB, lecturer Georgeta Ion is the responsible, which will allow the three main objectives to be achieved:

• O1: Academic and collaborative development of 5 e-learning modules that address the essential skills for quality online learning (online presence, interaction and dialogue, gamification, instructional design, feedback and evaluation).
• O2: Creation of a European network of teacher trainers for online learning composed of 18 teachers who participate in an advanced course consisting of 10 days of training, feedback loops with end users (students and teachers at a local level) and conducting thematic webinars.
• O3: Increase the skills of more than 2,450 teachers so that they can provide quality online teaching, addressing the attraction, interactivity and academic progress of students.
