Professors Marisol Galdames Calderón, Aleix Barrera Corominas, and David Rodríguez Gómez participated in the VI International Congress on Teaching Innovation and Research in Higher Education (CIDICO) on November 5, 6, and 9, presenting the virtual communication titled: “Use of Formative Strategies to Promote Creativity in Education Studies.”
In an increasingly complex and changing world, higher education must equip citizens with the necessary skills to face these challenges, especially skills like creativity, which the European Union highlights for its potential in solving real and sustainable problems. During the 2023/2024 academic year, the faculty of the UAB School of Education Sciences implemented methodological strategies that promote creativity and collaborative co-creation among students in various subjects, integrating them as part of projects and activities.
The results obtained, through an action-research process, show that prior preparation of the faculty, careful selection of strategies according to the activity, and flexibility to adjust them according to the needs of the students are essential.
