On November 7th, the Faculty of Education Sciences at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) hosted the third conference of the Center for Research and Studies for Organizational Development (CRiEDO), which was a great success. The event brought together education and research experts from all over Catalonia, highlighting the importance of innovation in this field.
The conference began with a lecture on non-formal education institutions and educational policy, delivered by Joan Subirats, former Minister of Universities and Emeritus Professor at UAB. Following this, a dynamic round table was held where various professionals discussed the management of non-school educational institutions, providing valuable and innovative perspectives.
One of the highlights was the presentation of the III CRiEDO Award to Sant Jordi Fundació Creactiva, recognized for its excellent promotion and management of training services for people with employment integration difficulties. This foundation has demonstrated exemplary leadership in the non-formal education ecosystem.
Additionally, Lidia Carrillo Alza received the I CRiEDO Award for Final Degree Projects for her thesis titled “Plan for Improving School Coexistence and Preventing Bullying and Violence at the Vall d’Arús Institute in Vallirana,” standing out for her contribution to improving school coexistence.
