Dr. Glady Zunilda Almada Vázquez, a Paraguayan lecturer, researcher, and university manager, is undertaking a postdoctoral research stay at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), affiliated with the Center for Research and Studies for Organizational Development (CRiEDO) under the academic mentorship of Dr. Joaquín Gairín Sallán. The stay is taking place within the framework of her fellowship from BECAL and the Carolina Foundation.
The main objective of her stay is to advance the development of a Guidance and Evaluation Model for Undergraduate Final Degree Theses for the National University of Villarrica del Espíritu Santo (UNVES), from a comprehensive university management perspective. The proposal addresses guidance, tutoring, monitoring, evaluation, and improvement processes, and aligns with areas such as quality assurance, teaching innovation, research, and institutional evaluation.
She holds a Doctorate in Educational Sciences from UNVES, a Master’s in Higher University Didactics, a Master’s in Government and Public Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Her professional career has developed mainly at the National University of Villarrica del Espíritu Santo, where she has been working since 2008 in teaching, administrative, and academic management roles.
As an outcome of this stay, a contextualized proposal for UNVES is expected to be developed, contributing to strengthening the guidance and evaluation of Undergraduate Final Degree Theses, academic management, quality assurance, and continuous institutional improvement.
