All set for Webinar 2.2

The fifth dissemination webinar of the EdU-InA project will present preliminary results on institutional policies and strategies for the use of GenAI in Spanish universities.

On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, the EdU-InA project is organizing the dissemination seminar titled “Policies and strategies for the use of Artificial Intelligence in universities.” The event will take place from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM (CET, UTC+1) in an online format via Microsoft Teams, and registration is open and free.

This will be the fifth webinar in the dissemination event series “Educational policies and practices of GenAI,” which accompanies the development of the project in order to share progress corresponding to each of the Specific Objectives. In this case, the seminar is linked to Specific Objective 2.2, dedicated to researching current policies and strategies on the use of generative AI in universities.

The EdU-InA project (Policies and practices on Generative Artificial Intelligence in university education), funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities under the Knowledge Generation call (PID2023-149069OA-I00), aims to promote the integration of generative AI in higher education from a rigorous, ethical, and equitable perspective. The project seeks to help teaching staff make the most of generative AI in their instruction, promote the adaptation of study plans and assessment activities to the real needs of students, and provide university leaders with evidence and tools to adapt institutions and prepare future professionals. All of this is continuously grounded in scientific evidence.

Webinar 2.2 will also feature the keynote presentation “Defining strategies for AI governance in universities consistent with the Manifesto for the safe use of AI in education,” delivered by Francisco José García Peñalvo, Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Automation at the University of Salamanca.

We invite you to attend this seminar and follow the full webinar series to learn about the progress of the EdU-InA project firsthand. Check the complete program and register here.
