New contribution of RedAGE entitled "List of schools in secondary education with the environment in Latin America".
This contribution reflects the views of 46 experts from thirteen Latin American countries on ways to understand and promote the relationship of schools with the environment. Located in high school (and in the age group 15 to 18 years) , is to define the way it connects the inner life and the outer life of the school, presenting models used , intervention strategies and the most significant in each country experiences.
The contributions do not seek review both linking schools together as fundamentally analyze the linkages with the community and organizations that host (associations, businesses, government or non-governmental organizations significant ...). In this regard, some of the writings collected experiences and strategies that specify the relationship studied. Hope to be like a support to students of the subject, but also contribute content to help managers improve their management of external relations.
The orientation of the writings to organizational analysis and the role of managers as promoters of community relations has to do with the aims and objectives of the RedAGE, also convinced by writing that management is made the context of intervention and performance of executives is essential to obtain and maintain the most suitable to the requirements of socio -cultural- economic responses.
Its realization is linked to meeting Specialists RedAGE held in March 2013 in La Paz. There, representatives of member organizations presented and discussed during the same documents on the subject of linking school and environment in their respective countries, which constitute the basis on which they have made definitive contributions collected herein.
It covers well and again a key purpose of the Red AGE, as is to promote the exchange of experiences, promotion of knowledge management and educational management and reflection on the practice of management. The ultimate aim is to improve the functioning of schools (and, through them, of educational systems), ensuring quality and be an instrument for professional and social change.
