The International Observatory of the Teaching Profession, of which CRiEDO is a founding member, is organizing the 2025 Conference Series.
This event will take place on different dates and in various formats, addressing relevant topics about the teaching profession. The conferences will be held on the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, April 8:Online conference from 16:00 to 17:30. The topic will be “Rethinking the Teaching Profession in Higher Education with Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom,” with speaker Silvina Casablancas and moderated by Trinidad Mentado.
- Tuesday, April 29:Online conference from 16:00 to 17:30. The discussion will be “New Epistemological Challenges for Educational Research,” with speaker Silvia Redón Pantoja and moderated by José Miguel Garrido from the Catholic University of Valparaíso.
- Tuesday, May 20:Hybrid conference from 16:00 to 17:30 at the Sala de Graus Margarida Comas of the Faculty of Education at the University of Barcelona, also available on the Zoom platform. The topic will be “Anti-pedagogical Discourses and Their Effect on Teacher Training,” with speaker Jaume Trilla and moderated by Francisco Imbernon from the University of Barcelona.
- Tuesday, June 10:Hybrid conference from 16:00 to 17:30 at the Sala de Graus Margarida Comas of the Faculty of Education at the University of Barcelona, also available on the Zoom platform. The topic will be “New Induction Models: Initial Teacher Residency Programs,” with speaker Ana Marín and moderated by Isaac Calduch.
