Our colleagues Georgeta Ion, Anna Díaz and Cecilia Inés Suárez have published an article linked to PBE-Tools projects.

The article entitled "Educational practice based on evidence in Catalan education: from the public agenda to teaching practice" analyzes Catalonia's long tradition of school innovation movements. These have increased in recent years as the public administration and private entities have initiated substantial school reforms aimed at the use of tests in teaching practice. As the Catalan education system is highly autonomous, not all schools have adopted the evidence-based practice (EIP) movement, and this has created differences between schools that choose to implement a change or innovation based on scientifically proven evidence and those that They do not do it. In this paper we will try to understand the current state of the inclusion of empirical practice in Catalonia and assess the teachers' perceptions about its adoption as part of their daily practice. To address these issues, we begin by exploring the legal and structural framework that underpins the implementation of evidence-based practice in the Catalan system, and through interviews conducted with a sample of leaders and primary school teachers, we approach the organizational and individual level to explore opportunities to implement an authentic evidence-based practice approach in the Catalan educational system.

The PBE-Tools project, developed between 2018 and 2020, was intended to promote and promote evidence-based educational practices by generating resources so that teachers and educational teams can transfer and use educational research for the improvement of non-educational centers. university students, from a collaborative approach and research communities. The main objectives were: (1) to analyze the current practices of transfer and use of educational research in the practice of educational centers and (2) to design, validate and implement strategies and resources for the effective use of research in educational practice .

The line started with the PBE-Tools project remains open through the project 'EIPSI - Evidence-Informed Practice for School Inclusion' funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Union. EIPSI aims to design, prototype, and test innovative solutions for teachers and other education professionals, such as educational counselors, inspectors, public administrators, and / or delegates, to improve equity and inclusion of students through the use of practices based on evidence.
