Professors David Rodríguez and Marisol Galdames have trained international educators in the WebQuest methodology as part of the European project SustainED.
On Tuesday, May 27, professors David Rodríguez and Marisol Galdames participated as trainers in an international workshop aimed at university educators from Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, Italy, and Portugal. The activity focused on the WebQuest methodology as a tool for active learning and took place within the framework of the European project SustainED, which aims to promote sustainable and innovative educational practices.
During the session, the professors provided hands-on training on implementing WebQuests in the classroom, highlighting their potential to foster meaningful learning, critical thinking, and guided research among students. Both David Rodríguez and Marisol Galdames are part of the coordination team for the project’s Teaching Manual, a pedagogical guide that compiles strategies and resources for teacher training in international contexts.
The event was an opportunity to share experiences among professionals from various educational systems and to reflect on how methodologies like WebQuest can contribute to a more participatory, interdisciplinary education that is connected to the challenges of the 21st century.
