On October 23, 2025, the Eurydice network published its new comparative report titled Entrepreneurship Education at School in Europe – 2025, a comprehensive analysis of how entrepreneurship education is integrated into European school systems.
The report highlights that entrepreneurship is one of the eight key competences for lifelong learning defined at the European level. This competence empowers young people to face the challenges of a constantly changing world, fostering innovation and providing skills to tackle economic, social, and environmental issues.
The document examines various aspects of education policies in the 27 EU Member States, as well as other participating countries such as Albania, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, and Serbia. Topics covered include:
- Policy frameworks supporting entrepreneurship education.
- Curricular integration of entrepreneurship across different educational stages.
- Teacher training and the competences required to teach entrepreneurship.
- Practical experiences that enable students to develop entrepreneurial projects.
Additionally, the report includes informative annexes with comparative tables on the presence of entrepreneurship in national curricula and teacher competence frameworks.
This report is a key tool for policymakers, researchers, and education professionals interested in promoting an entrepreneurial culture from school onwards. At CRiEDO, we welcome the publication of this resource, which contributes to the improvement of European education policies.
