Multiplier event of the QUEST project

On May 24th, the multiplier event of the QUEST project took place at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

The multiplier event was developed as a training activity for current university teachers and future teachers in training at the Faculty of Education Sciences. The focus of this event was digital tools for evaluation, one of the emerging topics that worries university professors and in which they have shown interest in recent years.

The purpose of this multiplier event was to publicize the QUEST project (Quality Essential Skills for Teachers in Online Learning) and the autonomous training products that have been developed within it. To do this, first of all, Professor Georgeta Ion facilitated a reflective session to explore previous knowledge, experiences and concerns in relation to evaluation and, specifically, evaluation with digital tools. Based on these verbalized results, Professor Laia Alguacil presented the 5 training capsules developed within the framework of the project, connecting each of them with the needs explained in the first part. These 5 training capsules, which can be taken as a whole or independently, are:

  1. Building self-confidence for online communication
  2. Managing online interactive classrooms
  3. Gamification of the online class
  4. Instructional Design for Online Learning
  5. Assessment and feedback of students in the online environment

The training is aimed at compulsory education teachers, but is applicable to other educational areas. It is completely free and has certification upon completing each module.
