The VII International Conference EDO: Learning and collective intelligence in organizations after the pandemic was held in Barcelona on May 17, 18 and 19.
The Organizational Development Team of the Autonomous University of Barcelona has focused since 2003 one of its lines of research on the analysis of the processes of creation and management of knowledge in organizations linked to education and training. The group is committed, by vocation and social commitment, to bringing the knowledge generated closer to society and to other professionals and academics. For this reason, it is organizing the seventh edition of the International EDO Conference (CIEDO) in collaboration with the Center for Legal Studies and Specialized Training and the School of Public Administration of Catalonia.
For the year 2023, the 3 institutions have organized the VII International Conference EDO “Learning and collective intelligence in organizations after the pandemic” with the aim of analyzing the new proposals for knowledge management in organizations. Multiple conferences, symposiums, thematic conversations and workshops have been developed in the various sessions. Specifically, the lines of work that have been addressed in the congress are:
- Methodologies and strategies for the new management of collective knowledge and the promotion of the learning culture.
- The new meaning of learning and training in organizations.
- Talent management and collective intelligence in organizations.
- Corporate networks for the promotion of learning culture and collective intelligence in organizations.
- Social and collaborative learning in collective knowledge management.
- Management of formal and informal learning in organizations.
- The role of managers in new scenarios.
The number of people registered was 411, with broad representation, in addition to Catalonia (Girona, Lleida and Tarragona) and Spain (Alicante, Cadiz, Elche, Granada, Irun, Balearic Islands, Leon, Madrid, Malaga, Murcia, Seville, Valencia, Vizcaya, Zamora), of international delegations from Andorra, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Portugal, Dominican Republic and Uruguay. The professional profiles are linked to public administrations, university managers, educational, justice and health institutions, personnel managers of private companies, consultants, provincial councils and university academics.
