On November 22, Professor Joaquín Gairín presented an online conference on “Development of educational innovation in the university. Communities of professional practice.”
On November 22, the II Congress of Educational Innovation organized by the University of Seville and the Secretariat of Educational Innovation was held. During the course of this congress, the different educational innovation projects approved within the framework of the Third Own Teaching Plan of the University of Seville were announced. Specifically, they were all those proposals that are part of action 1.2.3, which focuses on supporting teaching coordination and innovation and academic and professional guidance plans.
This Third Plan aims to continue reflection, analysis, innovation and teaching improvement and methodological renewal as joint work, in which teaching teams (transversal and multidisciplinary), institutional leaders (government teams of centers and departments) and the student body. To achieve this, specific monitoring of teaching innovation projects and a systematic study of students’ assessment of the teaching methodology used has been carried out. Meanwhile, the implementation of tutorial and mentoring action plans, learning improvement modules, and guidance for the development of the personal and professional project and guidance for the transition at the University have been promoted.
