Fundació Escoles Garbí and Maria Rosa Fillat Salvador, winners of the CRiEDO Awards 2025

As part of the 4th CRiEDO Conference 2025, two leading figures in the educational field have been recognized for their contribution to innovation and research in education with the CRiEDO Awards.

On one hand, Fundació Escoles Garbí was awarded the CRiEDO Prize for Innovation and Development of Educational and Training Institutions. With more than sixty years of pedagogical experience, the jury highlighted its commitment, dedication, and capacity for innovation, keeping alive the inspiration of its founder while successfully adapting it to current educational needs and challenges. Additionally, an honorable mention for this award was given to Fundación Xalest, for its more than 30-year trajectory focused on special education and the inclusion of people with functional diversity. Its project reflects a strong commitment to inclusive education, pedagogical innovation, and continuous organizational improvement, while maintaining a solid collaborative network.

On the other hand, Maria Rosa Fillat Salvador received the CRiEDO Award for Final Degree Projects for her Master’s Thesis titled “Meaningful Conversations Among Teachers for Informal and Organizational Learning”. The study offers a descriptive analysis of how meaningful conversations in early childhood and primary education centers contribute to informal and organizational learning, as well as the key role of school leadership in promoting these dynamics. An honorable mention in this category was also awarded to Pablo Lermanda Vidal, for his Master’s Thesis “Actions of the Department of Administration of Municipality Education: Analysis of Facilitators and Barriers in the Case of the Municipality of Cunco (Chile)”, which examines the actions carried out by the DAEM in Cunco, Araucanía (Chile), aiming to understand improvement processes in a highly multicultural and rural territory.

Through these recognitions, CRiEDO reaffirms its commitment to educational innovation and applied research, highlighting initiatives that drive quality and transformation in teaching and learning processes.
