Training

With the Carolina Foundation scholarship program you can finance your doctoral or postdoctoral stay at CRiEDO.

The Carolina Foundation publishes a new edition of its call for scholarships corresponding to the academic year from 2021 to 2022. It does so coinciding with International Education Day and within the common framework of the "Spanish Cooperation Scholarships", made up of scholarships from Carolina Foundation and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AECID), which offer different training opportunities with the same essence of international cooperation that characterizes Spanish foreign action.

In this 21st edition, 504 scholarships are offered distributed in the following modalities: 225 postgraduate scholarships, 85 doctoral scholarships and short postdoctoral stays, 27 scholarships for faculty mobility and 37 institutional study scholarships. To these must be added 130 renewals of doctoral scholarships. There are a total of 153 academic programs, of which 136 are postgraduate.

If you think that any of these modalities interest you, and can serve to extend your training to CRiEDO, read the requirements that are requested for each of them:

Postgraduate scholarships. Aimed at the training of graduates from a country that is a member of the Ibero-American Community of Nations, with academic or professional capacity backed by an excellent curriculum and a vital trajectory of commitment to society. The program offers two types of support: scholarships and study aid, and continues to combine official master's degrees, own degrees and specialization courses, with special emphasis on increasing the number of official degrees and the number of scholarships with official degrees.

Doctoral scholarships and short postdoctoral stays. The objective of the doctoral scholarships is to help teachers from Ibero-American universities to obtain a doctorate in Spanish academic centers, thus promoting the creation of collaboration networks between university institutions on both sides of the Atlantic. For their part, postdoctoral short-stay scholarships are aimed at professors from Ibero-American universities in possession of a doctorate degree and promote high-level academic exchanges between Spain and Latin America.

Teacher Mobility Programs. They allow short research to stay in Spain to teachers or research staff from Argentine and Brazilian universities, and from the Tordesillas Group of universities.

Scholarship Programs and Institutional Studies. These scholarships are conceived as an aid for the financing of training plans in Spanish centers that tend to the institutional strengthening of the Ibero-American public administrations. In some cases. It is up to the associated Latin American and Spanish institutions to nominate candidates to the Carolina Foundation.
