This April the Training in Digital Teaching Competence has ended, under the coordination of the Centre de Recerca i Estudis pel Desenvolupament Organitzatiu (CRiEDO) of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Since October 2023, a total of 185 teachers from early childhood, primary, secondary education centers, training cycles and adult schools have participated in training sessions, workshops and online activities leading to obtaining levels C1 and C2 in Teaching Digital Competence. In the case of level C2, CRiEDO has extensive training experience, teaching the Specialization Diploma in Digital Teaching Competence for more than 5 editions.
The training carried out is aligned with the Digital Education Plan of Catalonia, and responds to the training needs of teachers at different educational levels who require mastering at an advanced level the skills linked to the use of digital technologies at the educational center and system level. Participants in the training carried out will be able to participate in the calls that enable the Department of Education to accredit level C1 and C2 of the Catalan Framework published in 2022, in line with BOE no. 116, of May 16, 2022, by Resolution of May 4, 2022.
This edition of the training programs has been fully subsidized by the Next Generation Catalunya funds (File: EDU128/23/000040), and teachers from the Department of Applied Pedagogy of the UAB, trainers from the Department of Education linked to the UAB Institute of Educational Sciences and experts in digital technologies in the educational field.
For the next academic year 2024/2025, the UAB will continue to carry out, without specific funding, the Specialization Diploma in Digital Teaching Competence, in which teachers from the different educational levels of the educational system, as well as other professionals linked to education and training in organizations and university teachers.
