EDO-UAB participates as a partner in the project YOUTH “Creating a framwork and developing contents for tomorrow’s youth centres”.

This project is funded within the framework of the Eramus + program “Strategic parnership for youth” and it is coordinated by the centre of youth of Timisoara (Romania). The partners are: the city council of Timisoara (Romania), the Centre Nuorisokeskus Villa Elba (Finland), the Centre RIS Dvorec Rakican (Slovenia), Roter Baum Berlin UG (Germany) and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona through the Organizational Development Team.


The aim of this project is to create strategies of organizational development in order to improve the performance of the educational centres of non formal education, that will be specified by the following objectives:
1. Developing and testing a set of tools for youth work (based on the criteria of the European Council Quality Label) in the four youth centers of the consortium over the period of two years and a half.
2. Creating and testing needs-adapted contents focused on career planning and youth inclusion in the four youth centers of the consortium, over the period of two years and a half.
3. Developing a platform for the use of young people in Timisoara and intersted in Timisoara (covering events, trainings, youth exchanges, etc.), over the period of two years and a half.



The YOUTH project coordination by the UAB partnership is by the professors Joaquin Gairín and Georgeta Ion, and it will have a length of 30 months (from September 2016 until February of 2019) and in its specification there is also been foreseen training activities development with the organization workers for the youth participants in order to train them in the needed competences to attend the diversity of its users.
