The XVII Ibero-American Education Conference (EIDE 2023) will take place in Alcalá de Henares, Spain, next November.
The XVII Ibero-American Conference on Education (EIDE 2023) will take place from November 14-15 to 17-18, 2023, depending on the time zone. The current edition is being held under the title “Education, world heritage: Education in times of digital transformation, sustainable, inclusive and fair [La educación, patrimonio mundial: La educación en tiempos de transformación digital, sostenible, inclusiva y justa]”. This meeting is organized by the University of Alcalá and the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture. It will be held at the University of Alcalá (in Madrid, Spain), specifically at the Historic Campus Alcalá de Henares – Campus Guadalajara.
EIDE is an international and inter-university education event that has been held alternatively in Spain, Brazil and several Latin American countries since 2006. EIDE 2023 is developed with the purpose of continuing to offer a scientific, rigorous and committed space for interdisciplinary, inter-university and international discussion and exchange, with a focus on the Ibero-American geographical and cultural context, responding to the need to continue analyzing the educational reality from a global and collaborative perspective, as demanded by all professional and academic fields of education.
To do so, the conference is revolves around 5 thematic lines:
- Public policies and educational management
- Teaching practice and professional development
- Inclusive education for equality
- Science education and digital competence
- Environmental sustainability
