Concession of funding to implement the training in Teachers’ Digital Competence

The CRiEDO, within the Autonomous University of Barcelona, has obtained a grant from the Ministry of Education for Digital Impuls to Education within the framework of component 19 of the European Union-funded Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR). The concession is a total endowment of 330,000€.

On the 22nd of June, 2023, in accordance with the regulatory basis 15.2 of Order EDU/5/2023 of 16 January and in accordance with the resolution providing for temporary substitute for abstention from the incumbent of the Directorate-General for Innovation, Digitalisation, Curriculum and Languages, dated 21 June 2023, the Secretary for Educational Transformation issued the provisional motion for a resolution on the granting, withdrawal and non-admission of subsidies, in accordance with the Commission’s report of the 22nd of June 2023.

Two training courses are offered, depending on the needs of teachers: a C1 training course, on the one hand, and a C2 qualification diploma, on the other. Teacher training in Digital Competition responds to the training needs of primary and secondary education teachers in the knowledge, use, mastery and leadership of digital technologies in education. It develops the level C1 or C2 of the Catalan Framework published in 2022, in line with BOE No. 116 of 16 May 2022, through Resolution of 4 May 2022. Curating modules and workshops is free for teachers active in public, concerted and private centres of compulsory education in Catalonia.
