Tutoring students with disabilities at the university

Josep Maria Sanahuja, Joaquín Gairín and José Luís Muñoz have published an interesting article on how to tutor students with disabilities
Joaquín Gairín and José Luís Muñoz, both members of the EDO Group, together with Josep Maria Sanahuja are the authors of the article entitled “Tutoring students with disabilities at the university”. This was published on February 24 via online.
The objective of the article is to investigate the tutoring of students with disabilities in the university environment in order to analyze the role offered in the process towards an inclusive university that contemplates all groups.
In an environment of knowledge and training such as the university, where socio-labor insertion is facilitated, tutoring is a key fact to liven up the transition from the integration to the inclusion paradigm, making a student with a disability not be excluded by the group. Although this percentage of students is currently low, its incorporation in this context is irreversible and positive, so it is increasing due to efforts made by institutional, academic and associative parties.
