Iberian Observatory of Educational Leadership

The creation of the Iberian Educational Leadership Observatory is already underway after the signing of the agreement by the three parties involved: the Portuguese Catholic University, the International University of Catalonia, and the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​at the proposal of the Organizational Development Team.

EDULID's mission is to promote the research, improvement and development processes of educational leaderships in the Iberian context, through collaboration between Iberian university institutions committed to research, disseminate studies and promote training initiatives that contribute to the improvement of practices. of educational leadership.

The agreement, which was initially signed for 4 renewable years, aims to make EDULID a space for debate, discussion and collaboration for the different research groups on leadership and school and educational management in the Iberian Peninsula. The promoters of the agreement aspire to make it a benchmark in research in this field, making school leaders and future educational leaders see the observatory as a space for knowledge and professional development.

The general objectives pursued by EDULID are: to collect, produce and disseminate scientific and practical knowledge about educational leadership in the Iberian Peninsula; enable educational leadership research groups in this territory to position themselves in an international scientific audience; and contribute to the best of educational leadership in the Iberian territory.
