The training activities on the Access4All project, which started on September 18 at the UAB, will put the end point next Tuesday, October 3rd.

The Acces4All project on inclusion in Higher Education began its training activities last September 18th. One of the transversal workshops of the project, entitled "Promoting the inclusion of vulnerable groups in the University", aims to bring together institutional, technical experts who are interested in attending to the students and interested teachers the results achieved in the framework of the Access4All project. For this reason, the workshop will be repeated in the different Universities of the countries that take also part on the project.

Before the end of the course on Tuesday October 3, the participants will have the opportunity to know in depth the purpose of the project, review and analyze the good practices in inclusion in Higher Education that have been identified, analyze the state of the UAB in relation to that inclusion and delimit collaboratively the main elements to promote inclusion in our institution.

In this sense, the activity is carried out in a semi-face-to-face mode, with sessions that encourage discussion and the exchange of opinions among the participants, and others in which autonomous work is promoted based on the review of documents and participation in forums through a Moodle classroom enabled specifically for this course.

The main objective of the ACCES4ALL project "Laboratory of Policies and Practices for Social Development in Higher Education (Ref. 2015-1-SE01-KA203-015970)" is to promote accessibility and inclusion in European higher education institutions. In this sense, a Toolkit has been developed that includes some of the main results of the project: a bench of good practices and criteria for the identification and selection of these good practices, an institutional self-assessment tool and a model to promote strategic planning towards innovation and inclusion in higher education (Pyramid for Inclusion). Funded under the Erasmus Plus Program (Action of Strategic Associations in Higher Education) of the European Commission, other universities in countries such as Finland, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Romania participate in the same project. It is precisely on October 3rd that a meeting will take place with the participation of the different partners of the project at the Instituto Politécnico de Leiria (Portugal), with the intention of implementing novelties in the implementation of the project.
