Thesis defense
Ana Dolores Vargas defends her doctoral thesis on education for coexistence and the culture of peace.
The author defended her doctoral thesis "Education for coexistence and the culture of peace through the TAC: a multicass study in the Bogota context" on June 14th. The thesis was directed by Dr. María Alejandra Bosco of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, framed within the Doctorate in Education studies of the Faculty of Educational Sciences.
The purpose of the research was to explore the classroom experiences mediated by Technologies for Learning and Knowledge (TAC), as support for the processes related to Education for Coexistence and the Culture of Peace in six district schools in the city of Bogotá (Colombia).
The court, formed by José Tejada Fernández (Autonomous University of Barcelona) as president, Elena Noguera Piguem (University of Barcelona) as secretary, and Joaquín Paredes Labra (Autonomous University of Madrid) as a member, assessed the thesis presented as excellent cum laude.
