Teacher Training

The EDO has received two grants from the call ARMIF for improvement and innovation in the model of university degrees in early childhood education and primary education.
Two teams of EDO received aid under the first call that ARMIF AGAUR published last February. Specifically, the projects that have been awarded are:
Investigate and take: two skills to improve the quality of initial teacher training, with the code 2014ARMIF-00045, and directed by prof. Mireia Tintoré the group EDO-UIC. The aim of this project, involving teachers from the International University of Catalonia and University of Loyola, is to improve the quality of initial teacher training by developing and evaluating strategies to assist the work of the two types of skills: science skills to promote critical thinking, research and inquiry. And skills related to innovation and creativity that can promote entrepreneurship and inclusion in the workplace.
The evaluation of the effects and impact of curricular practices in teacher education and training centers, 2014ARMIF00023 code, and directed by prof. Joaquin Gairín the group EDO-UAB. The aim of this project, which also involved members of the group ODE-UDL and teachers from different schools to analyze the impact of curricular practices have on students and institutions involved, and to specify a model to analyze the effects and impact of curricular practices., identifying the effects and impact of curricular practices have on student learning and satisfaction and institutions involved.
The granting of these two projects will reaffirm the group ODE keep constantly update their own teaching researchers, while present results could be useful for the rest of the university community.
