Teachers Diego Castro Diaz and Anna have coordinated the last monographic magazine EDUCATE, entitled "Security as a key factor in educational organizations"

Educational organizations must be safe for both daily working professionals and their target areas. Security in educational organizations has become a priority issue that has a direct impact on the effectiveness of the teaching-learning, interpersonal relationships, trust one deposited in sanitation and, ultimately, the quality of the center itself.

Must consider security as an ideal situation depends not only on the strict application of the rules on the matter, but requires planning, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, working for a preventive culture in which teachers, students, families and society in general are actively involved.

Starting from the view that security is a multifaceted concept that can be studied and analyzed from different perspectives, this monograph brings together a set of contributions that emphasize aspects as diverse as unintended harm, self-protection plans, the culture of prevention, teaching safety, salugénicas schools, evaluation to improve safety or, more specifically, the behavior of peer harassment by the inappropriate use of ICT. Thus, we move from aspects related to the physical dimension related to social and / or emotional security dimension, showing that safety in educational organizations is a cross member.

The coordinators of this monograph belong to sub-group EDURSIC, which in recent years has developed several national research to analyze the variables that influence the safety of schools. EDURISC consists of researchers EDO-UAB group, the Center for Risk Governance UAB and professionals from various institutions.
