Success of the Final Conference of the D-EMIND Project

The final conference of the D-EMIND project was a remarkable success, highlighting significant advances in promoting a digital entrepreneurial mindset in higher education.

The event, held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Csongrád-Csanád (Szeged, Hungary), showcased the most relevant and innovative results of the project. The day began with an inspiring welcome from Tráserné Oláh Zsuzsanna, Secretary General of the Chamber, who emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions to foster entrepreneurship and innovation.

Attendees were able to learn firsthand about the results of the D-EMIND project, designed to prepare students for international careers by integrating entrepreneurship and Challenge-Based Learning (CBL). The goal is to create a trans-European platform that promotes innovation, peer learning, and real-world problem-solving.

The conference featured participation from Professor Sílvia Blanch Gelabert of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, who delivered a keynote speech on the fundamental role of CBL in higher education, highlighting its potential to enrich entrepreneurial education and increase student engagement.

During the event, several collaborators offered notable presentations that enriched the day:

  • David Rodríguez Gómez (UAB), project coordinator, provided an overview of the D-EMIND project and its innovative digital tools.
  • Anni Stavnskær Pedersen (UCN, Denmark) presented the D-EMIND methodology and self-assessment tool.
  • Kübra Bilgay and Elisa Hinestrosa (Hochschule Düsseldorf, Germany) showcased the D-EMIND platform and digital toolbox.
  • Ilse Fraussen and Annelies Schrooten (UC Leuven, Belgium) provided an overview of the D-EMIND training package.
  • Aleix Barrera (UAB) presented the D-EMIND MOOC.

Following this, the event included a roundtable moderated by Sándor Huszár, where experts shared their experiences on fostering digital entrepreneurship among university students. Participants included David Rodríguez Gómez (UAB), Anni Stavnskær Pedersen (UCN, Denmark), Julian Spratte (HSD, Germany), Ilse Fraussen (UCLL, Belgium), and Ágnes Limpek (Kőrösy József Közgazdasági Technikum, Hungary). The experts discussed best practices and strategies for integrating digital entrepreneurship into higher education, fostering an enriching and constructive dialogue.
