On October 24, 2024, a day dedicated to formative assessment and feedback in universities will be held.
The event will begin at 10:00 AM with a welcome and introduction by Dr. Teresa Guasch. At 10:15 AM, Dr. Ernesto Panadero will give a lecture titled “Towards a Paradigm Shift in Feedback: Integrating Self-Regulated Learning and Formative Assessment.”
At 11:00 AM, there will be a round table on internal feedback, with the presentation of several research projects:
- RD Project “Understanding the Processes of Internalized Feedback in University Students” (COFE-I), presented by Dr. Elena Cano (UB).
- RD Project “The Power of Internal Feedback in Online Education: Integrating Resources and Dialogic Comparators for Sustainable Practices” (IN-Feed4Sustain), presented by Dr. Anna Espasa (UOC).
- Catalonia Research Plan “Internal Feedback Strategies for the Deployment of New Competency-Based Curricula: Towards Student Self-Regulated Learning” (EFICCA3), presented by Professor Ludmila Martins (UB).
After a coffee break at 11:30 AM, the exchange space at 12:00 PM will allow participants to learn about teaching innovation experiences for the implementation of feedback in universities, with the participation of Dr. Aleix Barrera (UAB), Dr. Bea Amante (UPC), Dr. Carme López (UPF), Dr. Silvia Esteban Sepúlveda (UB), and Dr. Nati Cabrera (UOC).
The day will conclude at 1:30 PM with final remarks by Dr. Maite Fernández-Ferrer.
