Start of new project: QUEST

The new European project "QUEST - Quality Essential Skills for Teachers in Online Learning" begins.
The project "QUEST - Quality Essential Skills for Teachers in Online Learning" (Ref.: 2020-1-RO01-KA226-SCH-095.357) has been designed as a response to the training and digital learning needs of teachers and reflects the interest and strategic approach towards innovation, development of high-quality learning content from consortium partners. The project was born to respond to the challenges in education posed by the crisis generated by Covidien-19 and the long-term impacts they entail in the training of future and current education and training professionals. In this sense, in the next 24 months the project will respond to the following objectives:
O1: Academic and collaborative development of 5 e-learning modules that address the essential competencies for quality online learning (online presence, interaction and dialogue, gamification, instructional design, feedback and evaluation).
O2: Creation of a European network of teacher trainers for online learning made up of 18 teachers who participate in an advanced consisting of 10 days of training, feedback loops with end users (students and teachers locally) and conducting of thematic webinars.
O3: Increase the competencies of more than 2,450 teachers so they can deliver higher quality online classes that address student engagement, interactivity, and academic progress. The project management framework consists of 7 activities, 4 consortium meetings, monitoring and evaluation actions, and a coherent communication and dissemination component.
This project has a total budget of 235,449.00, is coordinated by the Romanian Angel Appeal - Apelul Ingerului Roman (Romania) foundation, and within the framework of the UAB, Professor Georgeta Ion will be responsible.
