Second transnational meeting of “EmPOWERing the informal”

On Thursday and Friday, September 26 and 27, the second transnational meeting of the “EmPOWERing the informal” project will be held in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife). This will be attended by Aleix Barrera and Georgeta Ion on behalf of the EDO Group.

The meeting will be held with the purpose of commenting, discussing and agreeing on several aspects of the project: the research process coordinated by EDO-UAB, the online platform, youth mobility planning to the Island of Fuerteventura, and other administrative aspects ( financial issues, reports, the responsibilities of each partner, clarifications, use of the management platform, deadlines, rescheduling and monitoring).

The "EmPOWERing the informal" project responds to European priorities and objectives to bring positive and lasting effects to organizations associated with systems policy that establish the framework for the creation and management of informal youth groups. Its main objective is to strengthen the link between the public and the associative fields, by placing informal groups as a central actor in the process of building sustainable communities, developing skills and attitudes towards young people.

The project, with the participation of eight organizations (UAB, FITT, Experimentaculo, Green European Foundation, Cascais Municipal Chamber, Subjective Values ​​Foundation, Association for participation, opportunity and development, Timisoara Municipality), is coordinated by Mihai Vilcea (FITT , Romania) and funded by the European Union under the Erasmus program with € 246,284.00 - € 23,375.00.
