Resolving cases as learning methodology

Marita Navarro teaches the course "The resolution of cases as a learning method" Course to be held in the University of Cordoba in the graduate course "expert to teacher training college."
The session given by Professor Navarro is in the form of educational methodology and consists of 3 ETCS credits. It performs April 11, 2013 with a duration of 10 contact hours.
The philosophy, theoretical foundation and development of course materials, arises from the work done by the faculty assembly subrealm Organization, Department of Applied Education at the UAB faculty member also Organizational Development Team (EDO). These teachers / as, under the coordination of Dr. Carme Armengol, and with the desire to improve the quality of teaching, faculty were established as the basis of the principles of a professional learning community (Cocharan-Smith and Lytle , 1999).
The reason it took to develop this coordination activity among teachers was a reflection on the use of case resolution as a learning method to illustrate the subject content. The search for theoretical foundations and joint discussion on criteria for materials development led to lay the foundations that led to the development of the theoretical and practical. This work has provided communications at conferences, publishing articles and teaching materials used in the various degree courses.
The materials produced on this subject were part of the contribution of this faculty, who runs Dr. Joaquin Gairín, professor in the Department of Applied Education at UAB, Jaume Vicens Vives Award 2012 i who has received the distinction in the collective mode. The award was specifically for his contribution to the improvement of university teaching.
