ProNet project meeting

This week is held a meeting of the ProNet project, in which the EDO group participates, in Berlin.
This week is held a meeting of the ProNet project in Berlin. Two members of the EDO group of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, David Rodríguez-Gómez and Georgeta Ion participate in this meeting. The project focuses on the identification, understanding across Europe of documentation and recognition of learning outcomes for a specific group: students dropping out of college.
This group, whose number is increasing and not decreasing, should also be able to benefit from the European area of skills and competences. Here, transparency must have a newly created tool. The partners of this project will develop manuals that will allow those who leave to document their qualifications and competences according to ECVET and EQF as well as, when available, ESCO standards. Given the idea that this tool should facilitate the integration of students leaving vocational training (VET), this project will generate transitions between educational sectors as well as contribute to the permeability of education systems in Europe.
With this initiative, an online platform is being designed that will allow the availability of the manuals developed. And not only that, what this project proposes is to contribute to reducing the lack of skills and inequalities by pointing out the options offered by vocational training to students who have left the University based on the needs of the labor market as well as the qualifications And the skills they have acquired up to then.
