Successful participation in FIETxs2017

About 150 education professionals participated in the International Forum on Education and Technology at the UAB.
Last Tuesday, June 27, the International Forum on Education and Technology was held at the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Under the slogan "Digital technologies in the new learning scenarios" this 4th edition of the FIET was attended by teachers from all of Catalonia and from Latin American countries.
The organization of the event was in charge of the EDO group of the Autonomous University of Barcelona together with the collaboration of the University of Barcelona, the University of Girona, the University of Lleida, the University of Vic, the Open University of Catalonia, The Ramon Llull University and the Rovira i Virgili University.
The seminar was attended by professionals such as the architect Eduard Balcells, where he spoke among other aspects of the customization of the distribution of spaces in a Waldorf school project. The Founder of Infonomia Alfons Cornella also held a lecture in the afternoon, which stated that we will have to turn the educational system into a system to increase human skills. "We must strengthen the skills that make us different from the machines," he said.
On the other hand, simultaneous symposiums took place on the evaluation in the field of learning, the latest contributions of neurosciences applied to education and on the educational application of emerging technologies with proposals for their didactic integration.
Also in the afternoon different projects were exposed in the communications corner in the following areas: educational centers and technology, virtual spaces, teacher training and technological resources. The event ended with the intervention of the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the UAB, Joaquín Gairín and Dr. Mercè Gisbert of the Rovira i Virgili University, who thanked the attendance and passed the witness of the FIETxs2018 at the Ramon Llull University.
