Presentation of Group AGE- Perú
Last week, "RedAGE Group" made its presentation. The group was created as part of the actions taken by the Faculty of Education at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru in its capacity as a member institution of the Network AGE.
The AGE Group - Peru consists of a group of people from educational institutions that provide training in the basic and superior levels. The group members share the desire of working together for the improvement of educational management in Peruvian schools. Its initial objectives are:
- To promote academic exchanges between educational institutions which conform with the Group
- To implement research on issues concerning educational management.
- To promote publication of joint research.
- To organize academic events for socialization and dissemination of research, successful experiences and proposals which promote inter-learning in educational management.
- To carry out joint and interdisciplinary research educational management.
- To provide training in educational management.
The principal activities of the group are focused on research on educational management, organization of academic meetings to disseminate advances in educational management and the study and dissemination of good practice in educational management.
At this moment, the group is settled in the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), the Peruvian Institute of Business Action (IEEP), National University of Cajamarca (UNC), César Vallejo University (UCV) and Andrés Bello College.
EDO-UAB, along with ORT University of Uruguay, are the initial powers of RedAGE "Support Network of Educational Management" with support from the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development.
