The program of cooperation between higher education institutions of the European Union and Latin America - ALFA III launches its new website that aims to be a portal for participants, beneficiaries and people who are interested in creating a more inclusive higher education system to find relevant information on completed and ongoing projects in this program. In this sense, the website describes the main objectives of the beneficiaries and the results of each project, with consideration of further information relevant to academia, the private sector, governments and the general public. The main features of the new website are:

- Content relating to Results
- Interactive map of results
- Feedback from beneficiaries

EDO-Team UAB is linked to ALFA III program through ACCEDES project "Access and academic success of vulnerable groups in risky environments in Latin America", developed in collaboration with 12 other universities (with the participation of 11 others, and a total number of 22 universities) and its main objective to improve levels of inclusion and retention of disadvantaged or vulnerable groups in some Latin American universities. The promise is with three concrete objectives:

1) To promote the enrollment and retention of disadvantaged groups in higher education institutions (IES);
2) To contribute to the development of inclusion in IEs;
3) To promote institutional networks focusing on the university inclusion.

The project, whose duration is planned to be three years, focuses to define and to develop a methodology that favours the adoption and successful retention of disadvantaged groups through actions and organizational development plans. It has to do with a network of mutual support and mutual help that will guide the adoption of the relevant measures, dissemination and subsequent institutionalization.

In addition to UAB, which acts as the coordinating institution, the ESC Rennes School of Business (France) and the University of Bergamo (Italy) from Europe also participate. In Latin America, some of the participating institutions are: Catholic University of Argentina (Argentina), Catholic University of Bolivia (Bolivia), University of Talca (Chile), Universidad de Cienfuegos "Carlos Rafael Rodríguez" (Cuba), Catholic University of Paraguay (Paraguay), Catholic University of Peru (Peru), ORT University  Uruguay (Uruguay), University of Andes (Venezuela), Autonomous University of Tabasco (Mexico) and the Specialized University of American(Panama).
