New ASCENT Training Guides

These guides summarize the training actions that have been carried out during the development of the Erasmus + project "ASCENT - Centers of Competence for Automotive Engineering and Sales Management to increase the positive impact on regional economic development in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico" which aimed to bridge the current gap between the needs of the labor market and educational offers by supporting HEIs in advancing their knowledge in automotive engineering and sales (585796-EPP-1-2017-1 -AT-EPPKA2-CBHE -JP)”.

The guides correspond to the 4 training modules coordinated by the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​​​through the EDO Group, and which were implemented in the different partner institutions of the project between 2017 and 2021. Specifically, they correspond to:

• Module 1. Trends in Engineering: training on the next trends in the automotive industry based on current technology and its strengths and weaknesses for future improvements and replacements.
• Module 2. Training the trainer: bring the professional skills developed in universities closer to the productive sector.
• Module 3. Soft skills: the importance of theoretical and procedural skills for success in the responsibilities of developing functions and tasks at work.
• Module 4. Improving technical skills: the importance of improving technical knowledge for facilities in the automotive sector.
