Training about evidence based practice
Members of the EIPSI Project participate in the Training Day "The use of evidence to improve educational practice"
On February 10, Georgeta Ion, Anna Díaz and Cecilia Suárez, members of the EIPSI Projects, participated in the Training Day "The use of evidence to improve educational practice" commissioned by the Territorial Services of Vallès Occidental de Catalunya , and addressed to members of the management teams of 170 Schools that have signed a co-responsibility agreement with the Department of Education of Catalonia.
Specifically, it focused on research results regarding the use of evidence in teaching practice, obtained in the EIPSI Project - Evidence Informed Practice for School Inclusion and the PBETools Project - Evidence-Based Educational Practices. During the session there was an exchange and reflection on questions such as What is evidence, What do we mean by evidence-based educational practice and How can we collect, use and transfer research evidence to educational practice. Finally, some of the elements that will allow us to move forward as an educational center towards the adoption of the PBE were presented.
