Today we have held a follow-up meeting of the O4Yel project, with the virtual participation of all the project partners.

The partners of the O4Yel project have held a general coordination meeting electronically on February 25 with the aim of monitoring the activities carried out to date, as well as to plan the activities that will be carried out during the next few months of the project. Special attention has been paid to analyzing the cooperation activities that have been carried out with schools linked to the different participating universities, where different orientation strategies have been implemented for students at risk of premature dropout from the educational system . In general, the inputs received from the schools in relation to the implementation of the strategies and the support received from the members of the project have been very positive, thus highlighting the evaluation that is being finalized.

During the meeting, progress was also made in specifying the program for the final conference, which will be held in Buchareest (Romania) on May 27, 2022. This activity aims to be a space to disseminate the project and the results obtained among those responsible for the educational systems, academics, experts and personnel in the educational field.

The Orienta4YEL project, over the last three years, has developed, implemented and evaluated innovative methods and practices focused on guidance mechanisms and tutorial action to promote inclusive education for young people who drop out prematurely or who are at risk of prematurely abandoning their studies; both in formal and non-formal educational contexts.
