Members of the EDO attend the presentation ceremony of the project devised by GRODE.

Maria Jesús Comellas, a member of the Educational Guidance and Development Research Group (GRODE) of the Department of Applied Pedagogy, presents the Xec3 or the Expertise Network for Shared Building Knowledge.

The project aims to promote the recognition of the knowledge and experience of the senior generation with their participation in research work. In this sense, the participation of people released from work obligations is promoted as mentors of research work for students in both high school, postgraduate and master's degree programs.

In this way, they are offered the possibility of being able to participate in research groups by contributing their knowledge and, above all, their experience, in collaboration with the current teaching staff.

The presentation ceremony is also chaired by the UAB Rector, Margarida Arboix, on Tuesday, November 21, at the UAB rectorate's Auditorium.

Closely linked to the subject of knowledge management, it will be held one of the conferences of the next EDO International Conference (CIEDO). Specifically, Laura Rosillo Cascante, from the Learning Observatory in Madurescencia, will talk about the 'Transfer of intergenerational knowledge'.
