The Ministry of Education of Chile approves two training programs co-organized by FIDECAP and EDO

On August 8, the Ministry of Education of Chile published the resolution which approved the funding of two training programs jointly organized by the Foundation FIDECAP (Chile) and Organizational Development Team(EDO). The programmes are the Internship "Directors as agents of change" and the Diploma "Management of centres for educational innovation."
In June 2011, the Ministry of Education of Chile, in accordance with Article 4 of the DS No. 44, 2011 in Education, called for consistent proposals in programmes of studies of skill training in order to practise the responsibility of director of educational establishments under the framework of the Supreme Decree No. 44 of 2011 from the Ministry of Education.
FIDECAP Foundation and Organizational Development Team, both with a long history of joint collaborations in the field of management training, jointly presented two proposals for training programmes: one is to implement an internship for school principals, which take place in the facilities of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain), the second is to organize the Diploma in Management of Centres for Educational Innovation in a semi-presential modality.
The implementation of both activities with the participation of teachers from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, University of Barcelona and other teaching staff linked to FIDECAP. The internship is expected to train 35 to 40 managers in each round; with regard to the Diploma, the expected number of students is between 35 to 45.
