MIF Projects

On 6^th July, the 1^st Seminar of Knowledge Transfer “Implications of ARMIF projects in teacher training in Faculties” took place in Educational Sciences Faculty in UAB, where the main results obtained in the framework of  2014 call have been presented.

the Seminar was structured around three wide work lines, each of them involving every project related. These lines were: (1) links between theory and practice in teacher innovation, analysis of teachers role in pair learning and improvement of the link between theoretical learning and practical learning in schools; (2) practicum, discussing aspects related to improving the competency profile of future teachers, increasing their social engagement through practicum, and the results of the assessments of effects and impact of curricular practices carried out by teachers; and (3) profile of competences and teachers, presenting the results of projects related to projects linked to development of cross competences during teacher training, especially those related to research as a learning strategy, discourse in Primary Teaching in English and mathematics teaching.

From EDO, Joaquín Gairín have presented the results obtained with the project “Assessment of effects and impact of curricular practices in teacher training and educational centres”, whose objective was analysing the impact of these practices in students and the institutions that host them during this phase of their training process. The main conclusions of the project point a positive impact of curricular practices in professional and personal development of students, a positive impact in schools, especially in class, and in professional upgrading of tutors in schools and educational faculties  Anyway, a limited impact is observed regarding the practices of general development in Faculties.
