Jornada FIETxs2016
On July 8th, FIETxs2016 was developed in Girona, the third edition of the Forum, co-organized by EDO group.
On July 8th, the third edition of the International Forum on Education and Technology (FIET) was developed in Girona in its "xs" reduced version. The event was developed in the Faculty of Education and Psychology at the University of Girona and has had more than 100 participants, thus completing the full availability.
The research group EDO has been part of the organizing committee of the conference with the collaboration of Cristina Mercader, member of the group. In addition, the group's director, Joaquín Gairín, has been part of the scientific committee and coordinated the symposium "Creating and managing collective knowledge in schools: Challenges and current trends." The symposium have been developed by Gairín, Alejandra Bosco (DIM member of the subgroup integrated into EDO since 2015-2016), Jesús Martinez (Centre d’Estudis Jurídics I de Formació Especialitzada) and Mireia Montané (WFATE).
The theme of this edition FIETxs2016, "New Trends" adapts and continues with the overall objectives of FIET: reflect and make proposals for transforming based on the results of investigation and evidence that it brings us. The Seminar had two major conferences, by Ismael Palacín (Fundació Jaume Bofill) as opening, and closing with Laura Borràs (Institut de les Lletres Catalanes). During the day, two blocks of concurrent symposia (8 in total) were developed, as well as a “corner of the researcher”, where young researchers were able to share their experiences and projects developed, in an oral communication format.
