Lecture Series on the Leadership Role

Joaquín Gairín participates this afternoon at 5 o’clock in the second session of a Lecture Series on “The leadership role in public education centres” organized by the School Council of Navarra in its second day about “The necessary competences for school management”. EDO’s director offers a lecture for analysing and remarks all competences that are required for managing a school centre.

This participation has its framework on the Lecture Series that the School Council of Navarra started last 25th of February with the intervention of Inmaculada Egido Gálvez, a teacher from the Department of the Theory of Education at the Complutense University of Madrid. She reviewed the different models of school management in Europe. These Lecture Series are directed to the members of a school management team although is opened to all teachers that are interested in this field.  

The last session will be on 29th of April at 5 o’clock and will consist in a round table on proposals for improving the management in school centres, carry out by former president of FEDADI (Federation of Associations of Institute Principals) José Antonio Martínez.
