José Luís Muñoz Moreno new Permanent Associate Professor of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

On October 28th and 29th, 2020, Dr. Muñoz Moreno, defended and obtained in public competition the position of Permanent Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Pedagogy of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. The tribunal was made up of Dr. José Tejada Fernández (Professor at the UAB) as president, Dr. Inmaculada Aznar Díaz (Professor at the University of Granada) as a member and Dr. Lurdes Martínez Mínguez (Associate Professor of the UAB) as secretary. The place won by Dr. Muñoz Moreno is assigned to the area of ​​knowledge of Didactics and School Organization (teaching profile: Social Context and School Management; and research profile: municipality, educational participation and improvement of socio-educational institutions).

José Luís Muñoz Moreno has a Degree in Pedagogy and a Doctor in Quality and Educational Innovation Processes (Extraordinary Award). He is a member of the Center for Research and Studies for Organizational Development (CRiEDO) of the UAB, as well as of the Research Group Curriculum, Resources and Educational Institutions (CRIE) of the University of Valencia. The lines of research in which it works are: the development of socio-educational institutions, municipalities and educational participation, inclusion, learning and educational innovation. The teaching given in undergraduate and graduate studies revolves around the Organization and Management of Socio-educational Institutions. Throughout his academic career, he has participated in more than 30 research and innovation projects, and is the author of more than 170 publications. Likewise, he has been a professor at the University of Valencia in its Department of Didactics and School Organization, and a visiting professor at the Complutense University of Madrid and the University of Paris - Sorbonne in France.
